  • need a little bit of help identifying two connectors

Tried my damndest to figure this out but I think I need a little help now...I'm having a little bit of trouble though with identifying two connectors. I should have taken pics last night but was so tired I didn't even think to, so I'll try to explain it the best I can here.

I have a 93 v6 Camaro. I have removed the 3.4L and put an LS1 in the engine bay. I noticed that on the 3.4L ecm harness, on the passenger side through a grommet in the firewall, there were four connections inside the passenger compartment underneath the dash. I have identified two of them as being C220 and C230 (white and blue plugs). There are two others and I can't for the life of me figure out what they are:

    1. small black plug with 3 cavities, a black wire, a blue wire, and a grey wire.
    2. black plug with 4 cavities, a purple wire, a black w/ white stripe wire, an orange wire, and the last cavity is not used.

Would these be C210 and C240? And if so, what is each used for and is there a wiring diagram for them somewhere?

    Thanks for ANY help/advice!

    Zig

Andy, you are awesome!! These four connectors are exactly the four connectors I was talking about:

According to that pic, the small black harness is the a/c evaporator temp sensor. So now all I need to know is what the other black connector (C210) is for.

Andy, thanks again, this definitely helps.

I was just about to post that link; you beat me to it. I can't imagine that it'd be that much different from the 3.4L because the colors of the wires in the shbox.com info match my connectors almost exactly.

I think my C210 has an empty cavity for the Grey wire in D, but other than that, they all match up.

This has been driving me crazy but I think I'm good for now, thanks for all the help!!
