When ever I lock my car (2000 camaro) with the remote transmitter the alarm goes off about 10 or so seconds after locking it. Someone suggested a new transmitter, I got a new one and still have the same problem. Has anyone else had this problem who has fixed it, or anyone know how to fix it. Its not a serious problem, but its just really annoing.
It's probably your shock sensor failing. They get moisture in them and start giving false alarms. It is located in the trunk in front of the spare tire. You could try adjusting it. You'll probably end up replacing it though.
