i was driving around last night and my rear view mirror light starting turning on when i didnt want it to. like it was flaring up and then turn off. any help would be appreciated?

Just one light, or all the interior lights?

If it's all of the lights, I would look at the door switches in the jams. Sometimes they will break or loosen and slide into the jam.

If just one, then you'll have to look closer at the switch in the rear view mirror.

are you sure it is just one?

if it is, then its probably a loose connection somewhere, i would check again, i had the same problem and couldnt figure it out until i realised my hatch wasnt shut all of the way and when i hit bumps the hatch opened and closed really fast turning the lights on/off
