this is the third time it has happened. my passenger side headlight (on my firebird) has started to dim considerably to a dull yellow, compared to the drivers side which is a bright white light. When i replace the light with a new one it is as bright as the drivers side for about a month or two but then starts to dim and become significantly less bright.
is this simply corrosion on the metal tabs that go into the headlight? i used dialectric grease this last time on the metal tabs, but maybe i need to use some sand paper on the metal tabs?
could this be anything else? bad wiring? bad ground?
or is this just corrosion like i think it might be?
I'm sick of replacing the head lamp with new ones, they are twenty bux a pop, i need to get this fixed once and for all.
