So ever sense i bought my wb o2, when ever i have it hooked up and the radio on, it whines pretty dam loud.
Now i have tried everything ti can think off and cant get it to stop

    different speaker amp whining
    different grounds
ground loop isolator (from deck to speaker amp)
    different deck
re routed wires (made sure non of the power/signal wires were close)

anyone else have any suggestions? Is there something i can put inline of the wb power/ground wires that might help?

also i have the gauge powered by the "ign" spot in the fuse block and grounded to the ground block right under the drivers side, side panel

    Abbott long tubes,homemade true duals,slp ram air,whisper lid,eibach springs,kyb shocks,BMR subframe connectors, BMR LCA reloc brackets,BMR LCAs. T-top/manual converted

ground them in the same spot maybe? as in a shared ground wire...might be worth a shot.

you may need to get some type of suppressor wire

back in the old days before they had that, they used to put a metal box type thing on top of the distributor to block the interference from the spark plug wires: http://www.web-cars.com/images/vette...SC_6026A_a.jpg

im not really sue if they have anything to go over the wires.. but if i had to guess, the wires are not the cause, it is the o2 sensor itself

it seems that you have tried everything i can think to recommend you, i have heard installing a capacitor can reduce noise

A Toroid choke basically disrupts the flow of electricity along the surface of the insulation on signal wires and cables... worked in my Camaro, as I had a AC/DC power inverter that caused all kinds of noise to come through the speakers when turned on... its worth a shot

Try one of these on the power feeding the WB O2.
