I have a buddy who works at Lethal performance here in texas, and i was bouncing the turbo idea off of him, and he suggest the m90 from a regal or gtp, he says all i need are the heads, intake, blower, from a gtp or regal, and they will swap directly onto my car, and i would need to make a bracket and get the supporting mods

i thought i read somewhere its a royal ***** to do this swap? is it really this easy? he says he has done a few before

honestly a custom turbo setup and front mount would be less of a pita IMO

If it were that easy everyone would do it...

Like screamin said read the posts.

There's a lot of fabrication involved in making it work, but it can be done.

thats what i thought, and i asked him, he has done a few of them, he said on the 99 the only thing you need to do is relocate the tstat, and make a notch in the firewall, and the rest should bolt on

I call BS on him having done the swap. There is only one I know of in existence, and I got to see it in person a month ago before it sold to someone else. It's not just some simple bolt-on swap. You have to cut into the m90 housing, reroute the coolant lines, move a lot of little things, etc. Not to mention tuning it. Honestly, I think you'd be better off going another route with your car.

It's been done before but the workload outweighs the power output. I mean think the GTPs didn't have but 240-260 crank. Just go with the powerdyne, you'll be getting more than 235 at the wheels, and it doesn't take as many supporting mods as the turbo if you're just running low Psi (IMO). You could always spray it

Turbo, turbo, turbo.LOL Powerdyne once it heats up keeps on dropping HP like crazy, when I dynoed mine 8-10 PSI, first run 288 wrhp, then 255 wrhp around there at least then 235 wrhp 4th run was 220 wrhp and the dyno guy said its heat soaked no more runs.

They're typically good for 6-7psi, some can handle up to 9 with the right parts. But yeah, any more and they tend to lose efficiency and reliability.
