Was at the exhaust shop yesterday, had them install my resonator (looks like a big CAT, 7"s long 6"'s round) with a 3" V-band on it and made the rest of my system so it can be taken off and put back on if I need to take the turbo off for something. Fabbed up my turbo Y pipe 2.5's with flanges going to the headers and the other end is the 3" oval. It sits next to the oil pan and the oil pan is 1/2"'s lower so I should be good for clearance. They also welded my wastegate to my turbo pipe and welded a 3" v band that will be used on the downpipe. I spent today spraying them down with 2000 degree paint about 4-5 coats, ran in some spots but atleast it will be coated well.LOL I'll post a pic of them and a link to what resonator I used, sounds outstanding with it no rasp at all really mellow.

Nice. I know you were aiming for 400RWHP at 12 PSI right? I know you're running forged pistons but is there anything done to the top end?

Edit: Whats your estimated price for all the fabrication pipes?

      Re: Turbo pippping pic

Right now polished TB, 36lb injectors , slightly polished intakes heads, VS cam , 105 LB springs, modded retainers, and 5/16 pushrods. My spare set is P/P intakes, P/P heads new stock valves& 3 angle valve job/milled, 130lb springs, modded retainers, Comp oem lifters comp locks, comp .105 pushrods, double roller timing chain, Oil PSI kit, MLS gaskets, lower alm. gaskets and 65lb injectors.

I think the total charge will be about $400-$500 to cut weld the pipes up, I paid $200 this last time for them doing what they did , I really think I'm going behind the axle when I go back with my old Dynomax 3" in/out muffler.

          Re: Turbo piping pic

Just use a set up like this under the K or forward facing headers. The pics are from Teful Huydens turbo setup with a GT40R ,with a notched K member. My setup is a TUb. K member with 3" oval piping = 2 1/4" height, which doesn't come past the oil pan in height so it shouldn't hit anything I hope. I hope to be done with the hot side in a week or 2 and start on the rest again.

You'll be more than seeing it , you'll be driving it at the track, since you way less than me.LOL I still have alot to do before getting it ready, I have decided to install the 65lb injectors instead of seeing if the 36lb injectors would hold up. Better to be safe than sorry. I still need to install the methanol kit in also even though it's winter I would like the extra security. Still have along time to getting completed since I don't have a full time garage anymore.
