which 36-42lb injectors fit the stock 95-97 fuel rails?

    Re: injectors

95-99 fuel rails are the same. You can use 36# injectors from a 97-01 (I believe they changed something around 2002) GTP.

      Re: injectors

Bosch style injectors , take a ook at ZZPerformance you'll pay the same price for the 65LB injectors as the 42lb injectors, might as well get the 65LB( well actually 60LB on our cars). Viper said the 65lb idle alot better than the 42lb injectors so thats a plus too.

        Re: injectors

Nice 300+ is pretty reasonable. Im not going to upgrade the pump unitl I see the fuel pressure is inadequate. Think ill be able to tune the 65lbs correctly?

          Re: injectors

Should be fine tuning them in.

Also I run 42lb ford green tops in mine and they seem to idle fine.....

            Re: injectors

I would upgrade your fuel pump to a walbro 255, just incase the pump doesn't flow enough boom , maybe a cyl. goes out becuase there wasn't enough flow.

This is good advice. If you don't get a 255 pump then at least get a fuel pressure gauge and keep a good eye on it.

Yea im going to get the fuel pressure guage regardless. And mayb try and FMU or an inline pump. I just really dont want to have to replace that pump. I did it like a year ago, and DIDNT cut the access panel. Pull the friggen tank out. Its one of those POS airtex pumps from autozone. And my dad doent want me to cut the friggen access panel, i dont know why.

and what kind of power are you looking to push? Those airtex are totally garbage and we will not install any of their pumps in our customers cars.

i'd get the 80's if your running a decent turbo with big boost and or e85. our 65's were maxed to 114% DC at 11psi on e85. never hurts having too much as most injectors start performing like crap in the high duty cycles..

                      Re: injectors

To be honest I would be happy with over 300rwhp, and i would like to do it at a low amount of boost. And yea I know they are garbagehaha, but I did the pump when it was my daily driver and i absolutley could not go without a car. It was the closest thing on hand. But I won this 2008 focus from my high school graduation and now i really only drive my fbody when i want to have some fun. So if i absolutley had to change the pump it wouldnt be an issue and i could do it at my own pace. Id just rather not.
