    Re: Couple quick questions

You need to 2 outputs already 1 for the oil pressure sensor and 1 for the turbo feed.

Well your going to have to buy and install a new one a mechanical one while driving is going to tell you sh!t when it goes to zero or just above zero, so unless you know if your oil PSI goes to Zero you can turn the car off before it blows up and catches on fire. LOL You need to do alot of searching and reading on adding a turbo becasue your questions are general questions if you have search this FI section all the answers would of been answered. Alot of info on this site and also on the web about turbos and setting them up. I don't think your ready to add a turbo and maintain it just by the questions you ask, I'm just being honest and don't want to see you blow your engine. I'm going to weld my return in my new oil pan and it stall it, so I don't have to worry about it, since they make block offs incase I need to pull it to do something, I was going to use it fo the L26 block but I can use my current one on the car.

also are there any specific type of nut and bolt i should get to hold the turbo to the flange? should i need washers or lock washers?

i see alot of oil sandwhiches is which would be easiest to run my fittings for the oil feed, i see lots on ebay but none specifically for camaro, but i see some that are "universal" what size fittings do i need to look for to make sure it will fit my car?
you can't just pick an afr to run. you have to watch logs and listen to your engine.

personally if i were to bring a car like yours in. i'd one, check that you have the plugs i like to run. two put a wideband in, three do about 15mins worth of warm up and running through the gears on the dyno watching how the car behaves and looking for little problems...because at low load on the dyno a small problem can be found and fixed with little chance of damage.

assuming all that is good we'd start out at the lowest possible boost that your car can make. if we can't adjust then we'd do only partial runs until the data logs show that its safe to make a full pull. your combination might like more or less timing and might be happy at 10.5:1 to 11.8:1 on premium pump gas. you'll rarely see a premium gas tuned car running in the 12's for afr. your egt's would be pretty high at that point and plugs would definitely risk strap damage if your fuel sys had even the slightest hiccup.

in the end your data logs showing KR, AFR, EGT, and learning to read your spark plugs would be the most beneficial.

SMOKE, whats a good EGT temp and whats a hot temp where its bad for the engine so I know if its getting to hot here in AZ 120 temps summer time? I have the EGT kit that hooks up to my Aeroforce gauge so I will be able to monitor it and adjust my methanol injection accordingly. Also what a good way to keep EGT temps down? , I know methanol works to a point. Thanks
