nope i just did it my self, i took the front bumper out and took the foam pad and the front rebar out, there is a perfect spot for it

my intercooler already had nuts welded to the top and bottom of it so i just went to vato zone and got bolts that were long enough and fit the threads, i held the intercooler up with a jack and marked the wholes and then pre-drilled them and bolted the intercooler up

i made a bracket that bolted into the bottom of the deflector and into the bottom of the intercooler to support it better

well f*** texas weather, yesterday i was sweating in the garage, and now its sleeting with crazy high speed winds, so i doubt ill get to put the rear in the car today :( o well its christmas eve i didnt want to be working on the car anyway

I wouldn't worry about how long it takes fondle , the fastest was a guy on FTV6 did under the K in 1 day, with a cheap $300 chinneese turbo kit and got it to 7 PSI and finally got it to 10 PSI after all was done, but 7 PSI in a day is good. Just do it right the first time so you don't have to go back and redo stuff.

im like 45minutes from johnson city

i have a rear end now! but it has an open diff so i need to put my spare torsen in it and put it in the car, dont think ill work on it today just because its christmas and dont feel like crawling under cars today


i will finish hopefully tomorrow, some how i manage to kill my battery again so ill neeed to jump start it or something

Who's jealous? Most of the people posting are the ones that have already turbo'd and WAS trying to help. Till someone had to get all hostile cause he didn't like what he heard.

well you mentioned it atleast 3 times, as we all know pictures dont do any justice, you havent seen the car in person to see how it actually sits, being under a car with little to no lighting makes things look different, its really not as low as it looks in that picture, im hoping to get the car on the ground today or tomorrow so we can see what im working with

i wasnt trying to be rude its just kind of annoying having someone on the internet who has not seen the car repellingly tell me its not going to work, just like no one told me i had enough knowledge to turbo a car, when ive started the car numerous time since the turbo has been on and everything functions correctly with no problems so far

You weren't trying to be rude so you called me a ****? Ok. 2, I can see how far those pipes are under the oil pan. Just due to the fact that they're even under the oil pan is enough for me to know, FROM EXPERIENCE, that they're too low.

I was urging the fact because you continually disregarded it. But whatever, I obviously don't know wtf I'm doing right? Since you're the pro now. I'm surprised how much you were asking me about my turbo setup awhile back via private messages since you're the expert.

btw, i'm not sure if you did or not.. But have you done anything about the pcv?

dude idk wtf is wrong with you, but now your just being an a** hole, i am trying to be nice and settle everything down and you just took a 180* of the deep end and now your being a **** for no ****ing reason

the pipes run in the stock y pipe placement *** hole, they just 90 under the oil pan

before i put the car in the air, when the car still had lowering springs, i put a 2 1/4 inch pipe under it and it looked to have decent clearance, and now my car is raised 2" in the front

never did i ever say i was a ****ing expert, never did i claim to be the best turbo builder, i ****ing clearly stated this was my first boosted car and my first turbo build and im learning as a go, if its too ****ing low, then its too low and ill have to fix some ****, you have not been under my car, you have no idea how they will fit, looking at your signature i can tell your car sits waaaaaaaaay lower than mine ever has, and i can see all your intercooler piping, you cant see any of my piping

now you made me get angry on christmas for no reason, your putting words in my mouth i didnt say, and altering them, and being a **** for no ****ing reason

Calm down hunny. Btw, in the sig.. The car is in grass. Makes it look lower. I figured you would have known that since you're the expert on all the optical illusions pictures can make.

all i said was i can see your piping, i know none of my piping is visible from the outside of my car, and i can tell that that one piece of intercooler piping is lower than any of my piping judging on how it sits compared to your tire

im judging how low your car is by the gap between the tire and the fender well, not how low it is to the ground

i really didnt want to make this a huge flame thread, i had alot of respect for you, and i was really glad you answered alot of questions i had when i was starting my build

i have a hard head, and i not going to start tearing up piping just because you think it looks too low in pictures, even if you say its to low, it still doesnt show me what part of it is too low and where i need to raise it, so if it is to low when i get it on the ground, i will be able to see for my self where i will be able to make changes to my setup for it to be most effective

I've told you several times exactly what is too low. And I told you earlier too, before you finished it so you didn't have to tear **** up if you just trusted me/us when we told you.
