after i got it on the ground with the new rear end, i went to put the posi in because i wasnt going to drive a 350+hp car spinning one tire

what do you know, the new rear has series 2 gears, and i have series 3 carriers, agahdgahghdgh i want to light my car on fire, so one again, another day without the car until i find a series 2 posi or a new rear end

I'd be interested to see a pic wth a tape measure from the pipe right under the K-member to the ground. Curious have you taken into acount the amount of suspension travel from normal driving as well as suspension travel from uneven road,bumps, potholes into consideration? Just things to consider.

in that picture, the monster can is under the lowest point of the piping, im not exactly sure how tall a monster can is, but its probably around 6 inches

i thought about it, but i cant picture anything hitting it that high up

Damn; what I wanna know is how you got a Monster can under there at all....I don't think I could get one under my car even without all the extra piping for an under K setup. And I have almost brand spanking new Bilsteins. Maybe I need new springs...:(

the springs that are in are stock shocks and springs, not sure on the mileage my friend gave them too me out of his car when he lowered his

Huh. Well I am rockin' stockers with the Bilstiens and I don't think I sit anywhere near that high...maybe my stock springs are junk. Oh well. Thanks for the info.

i definately couldnt fit a coke can under my k member...and mine is stock too.

I raised my front end with my QA-1's and can't fit a coke can under my oil pan on flat ground. I'm at almost 28"s about 27.5-28"s from ground to fender with it raised up front. 28"s in the rear with new 1LE springs with 1" rubber spacers and QA-1 shocks. I have about a 2-3" space from tire to fender all the way around, with 275/40/17's.Only way to get higher is going with taller tires which I have looked into.

Once you get it rolling, take a side view pic and one from the front
after you drive it for a bit. The springs are going to settle some. I'm
interested to see how everything is sitting.

The pic you posted is at an awkward angle and makes it look like
the can isn't even under the exhaust.

What I find most unconvincing of the legitimacy of this picture.. other than the monster can not actually being under the pipes. Is that the control arm is angled downward. Now if the car were actually on it's tires the control arm would be pretty level rather than at the obtuse angle as it's pictured. We can all check this in like 15 seconds just by looking behind our front tires. Sorry Fondle, you called me out. btw, i'm still not angry. This is like sport to me.
