there is room to go between the k member and the engine, straight to the oil pan, thats where i was planning on running the oil drain, there should be enough angle on it for it to drain correctly

and firebird- yes i did all the welding my self, ill post pics of the final under k piece after i finish today, i had it just tacked on when it was under the car, and now i pulled it out and im sealing all the welds

I think your BOV would look better before the TB instead of right after the intercooler, just a thought.

You might have stated this earlier but how much boost are you planning to run on it?

He has 36LB (33lB) injectors so I would say no more than 7-8 PSI until it maxes the injectors.

ssms- thats where i wanted to run it, but if you look in the pictures the pipe with the bov flange is a different type of metal than the intercooler piping, so i thought it would look weird

im trying for 9 lbs, but we will see where the injectors get me

I ran 12 psi on 36's with an MPT70. Where did you come up with 7-8?

Doubtful. I made 297 at the wheels on 10 psi and 333 rwhp on 12 psi and a 50 wet shot of nitrous. I max'd the injectors at 12 psi. I have 42.5's now and running 15 psi, but havent dyno'd it again.

just got my oil lines, is hole on the flange for the oil feed supposed to be the size of a pin hole, its tiny

edit- anyone see any problems with running the down pipe this close to the oil filter ? it fits perfectly inside the hole between the k member and acces.

or should i get some sort of heat shield for the oil filter

Fondle, I don't mean to bring you down cause I know how much fun this build was for me. But I had to redo all of my hot side piping since it was too damn low. And it wasn't even as low as yours. Just for the sake of doing it once, put the tires back on and put the car on the ground to really check how low those pipes are. I'm just telling you from experience that it sucks doing **** twice and I want this to go well for you.

BTW, my pipes run really close to my oil filter too and I've had no problems. It's a white K&N filter that's still white so.. i guess it's not burning.

i would atleast get a shield for that filter or make one out of sheet metal and some fiberglass.
