Re: I am the FondleMonster- and i has a turbo(build thread)

blizzard- i sold my lowering springs and got a free set of brand new ss springs and shocks, so hopefully it will raise it high enough, i measured when it was still on the ground, but its hard to tell until your actually going over a speed bump or something, its really not as low as it looks in pictures, it just looks weird because there is no transmission, but we will see when i get a rear end in the car and i can set it on the ground

vr4- i thought about making one out of a old heat shield, i probably will make it just for safety

it was a piece i cut off my stock exhaust, i didnt do any bending, just cutting old pipe and welding it to get the right shape

questions are no problem, i like helping because i know it was hard to get help with my setup

that particular bend came from the actual exhaust part, the only piece from the "y" pipe i used was the actual merge from the y

Well hopefully it will be high enough but I'm looking at it in relation to the oil pan and lower control arms. I ran my pipes pretty snug to the control arm/kmember joint and I still have to be careful even with the tube K member. Live and learn I suppose.

Will that mess with anything with the PCM and any other componets PCM related since the PCM won't see any oil PSI?

Wow how did I miss this thread??? Awesome work, especially considering the time frame. I'm planning on fabbin' up a similar set up pretty soon, but I want to make forward facing headers since there are so many pot holes in my town haha.

my buddy who works at a performance shop around here (lethal performance) actually suggested it to me my sensor has been broken off for a few months now and i haven't had any problems, and he told me it was useless, and the factory sending unit isnt accurate and to use a mechanical

lil john- thanks man! its been fun, i wanted to do do forward facing headers but i slacked off lol, maybe at a future time, let me know if you have any question i might be able to answer

do i have to loosen the motor mounts to jack engine high enough to take the oil pan out?
