You'll have to undo the motor mounts and loosen the k-member bolts.

do i have to loosen the motor mounts to jack engine high enough to take the oil pan out?

No. I removed my oil pan without messing with the k member or motor mounts, but my transmission was removed. If your tranny is already out, then you can get the oil pan off.

Did you get the bolts out or are you having trouble with the oil pickup?

all the bolts are out of the oil pan , im pretty sure unless there is one hiding somewhere

Should also be an injector change write-up posted somewhere on the board(s). Seems like I found one when I did mine....

learned a lesson the hard way today, dont leave objects sitting in your engine bay when your working on your car, my wastegate sneak attacked me and left a nice gash on my cheek

after that i was a little sick of working on the car, so i cleaned the garage which was much needed and got my tools all in order, tomorrow is a new day and i got alot of stuff i need to do!

-tap for oil drain- gonna need to take my clutch and flywheel out it looks like
-swap injectors
-get my battery charged since i died a few days ago
-take out my rear end
-wrap my headers/ k member piece
-vacuum interior
-mount turbo/wastegate on piece
-run other side of intercooler piping
-put my throttle body back on

lots to do! and only 2 or so days to do it (till my tranny is back) and hopefully the car can leave the garage as soon as the tranny is done

fyi - Flywheel bolts are not reusable (TTY)

isnt there a set of bolts that are reverse threaded? which bolts are?

got the old clutch/pressure plate/ flywheel out, new clutch and pressure plate ordered

oil pan is out

well i talked to the guy who is building my transmission, and he says he got all the parts in...except 2nd gear because it was back ordered or something :( , so unless you can start the car without the clutch some how, she cant run until my transmission is back

but everything else should be finished by today, my drill ran out of battery so its charging right now so i can drill the oil pan
