So i just finished my last final last night for the semester and i am going to start the turbo build

The beast as she sleeps


Transmission is out and being performance built to handle 500 hp


Engine bay before the build


Some of the parts( Tial 38 w/g, greddy bov, greddy turbo timer, manual boost controller, 36lb injectors, 32/12/3 intercooler, MP t70 turbo)


Today im going to do some wiring and get the turbo timer wired in and get the gauges all wired back up, and re run my audio equipment

Looks like this is going to be a nice build. I don't really see a need for the turbo timer, but some just prefer that. You may want to look into bumping up to some bigger injectors though. Those 36# won't last very long.

What kind of setup are you looking at using? An under-k setup or FFH style?

looks nice last pic reminds me of my bedroom haha. those injectors look like gtp ones right? your gonna have to cut down your fuel rail a little bit if they are, i just out those in. its no big deal im just sayin it so your not sittin there like i was saying why the hell dont they fit haha, looks like it gonna be fun, good luck with everything

His car is a '99. The GTP injectors should drop right in. Your '00 uses the taller injectors, unlike the shorter Bosch style that the 99- use.

its a under k member style, the turbo it only oil cooled so and i live in texas so it gets pretty hot, i figured i would get the turbo timer for extra security

ha ha ya some of the stuff used to be yours, i got my old exhaust out today, but i have my step sisters birth day today and so i had to get ready, so ill get back to working on it tomorrow

today i got all my audio re wired, re wired the cutout for when i move it, got the y pipe and s pipe out of the car, took the old intake off

tomorrow im going to take the front bumper off and try mounting the intercooler, and hopefully get some of the hot side fabb'ed up

ha ha, i had to wait till i had all the parts, and now i everything is pretty much here, took the transmission to the builder today, hopefully i will have the whole project done by mid next week

lol if i was selling crack i would have been done with this months ago ahaha

mts- yes im doing the hit side my self, starting that tomorrow hopefully, trying to get ahold of a band saw to make cutting easier

i ordered my down pipe flange, oil lines, and filter today, my goal is for it to be completly finished before next friday

jaysan- right now there isnt even a transmission in there, but when its done you can come check it out

I think we could b e expecting close to a 12 when this is all done with. Looks like its going to be a nice build dude. And are you talking about just having the hot side done by friday?
