I am the FondleMonster- and i has a turbo(build thread)
Re: I am the FondleMonster- and i has a turbo(build thread)
you are correct, nothing was reverse thread, i guess its just the rear end gears that are reverse threaded, for some reason i was thinking something was reverse threaded when i did my first clutch install
picked up my new clutch, and took my flywheel to be resurfaced
Re: I am the FondleMonster- and i has a turbo(build thread)
looks like everyone has lost interest in my build lol, i got 4/6 injectors in, but my hands are killing me so i took a little break, hopefully ill find the desire to put the other 2 in today
Re: I am the FondleMonster- and i has a turbo(build thread)
believe me im trying, i figured why i couldnt get the last injectors in, two of the o-rings from the original injectors got stuck in it, so i had to move the whole fuel rail, but i did it without having to remove the fuel lines! so injectors are in and good to go
Re: I am the FondleMonster- and i has a turbo(build thread)
im still verry interested. how much did you pay for all this? i plan on doing a turbo setup in the spring. but for now im parts hunting. and what are those injectors from?
Re: I am the FondleMonster- and i has a turbo(build thread)
i think the savings are really in the fact of doing the welding at home. as for injectors...they are a biotch if you dont remember to check for o-rings. took me 6 hrs first time without reading up on it just kinda...wingin it. next time took me 1 hour lol
Re: I am the FondleMonster- and i has a turbo(build thread)
injectors are so easy...the fuel rail comes completely off with the removal of four ten mill nuts and the map sensor. you dont even have to disconnect the fuel lines.
and what happend to the "ton of pictures" that was supposed to be here today...
