yes you have to have a wastegate, and we will see how low it is when we put it on the ground tomorrow

Wastegate bleeds off the extra exhaust the turbo doesn't use so you don't run 40 PSI. Thats why you can put in different spring rates and get about 3-5 more PSI from that rate spring with a manual or electric turbo controller. I'm starting out with a 7 PSI spring so I should be able to turn the boost up to 10-12 PSI at least if I want, then the extra exhaust will get dumped back out the exhaust so no build up and the turbo gets what it needs.

Yeah like steve said, no wastegate would be disastrous to your engine.

i disconnected my wastegate once, and let made one run down the road boosting like no tomorrow. it was the most awesome feeling, like my car and me were one, and it wasnt gonna let me down, and it didnt. i pulled off into bruno's reconnected it and went on my way.

i have been under my car since 10am today, i had to put my clutch and all that **** back in, and i had so much trouble getting the transmission in, and i still cant get it, so were gonna have to work on it tomorrow and hopefully i can get it in and start it and make sure everything is running right before i take it off jack stands and drive her

Did you use a clutch allignment tool? It's $2 and will save you lots
of time and frustration. Sometimes you have to jack the back end of
the motor up to get everything lined up.

Bad part about it is he's going to have to jack it back up and redo the pipes. He says, "We will see when I get it back on the ground". Well some of us already know and don't have to wait and see. Whateva.

blizzard i dont see why you keep being rude and coming in my thread being a d***, car is running and i started tuning, i tried taking a video but for some reason it didnt take so i gotta figure out how video works on my camera
