after i got it on the ground with the new rear end, i went to put the posi in because i wasnt going to drive a 350+hp car spinning one tire

yeah, good job taking on a turbo build, but just cause you did it doesnt make you the master mechanic, many of people before you have done it before, and many more will. so you stop getting an attitude cause your getting put in your place.

thats a real world estimate...turbo is not gonna give you a million horsepower.

holy farksticks batman can we please stop arguing. this spit is getting freakin ridiculous. I followed this to learn about a fellow members turbo build so maybe one day i can feel more comfortable doing one myself if i decide to do so. Im really sick of looking at updates and seeing my brotheren arguing with each other. im gonna put a flippin end to this....how about shut the duck up everyone....lets talk turbo, and if he furcks up...correct it and post why it was messed up and how it was resolved so we all learn. lets not do the danm finger pointing and told you so's before hand or at all! appreciate what is going on here people. stop putting each other down dog dannit. enough is enough i say. one more bad post and i will not be reading this thread again. i dont care if anyone else cares whether or not i do or dont but just saying...this is why my visit to fbody.com was so short....this was all the truck they ever did. its really annoying to those of us who want to read about a build. sooooo with that being said...3....2....1...done. back to the turbo.

yes i realize you have experience, but you have not seen my car in person,and shadows and many other things can manipulate photos and make things seem look different than it really is, i was worried about ground clearance, but when i got the car on the ground yesterday it was alot higher than expected, i havent gotten it on the road to see how it will be, your town is different than mine, maybe in your hometown the roads wouldnt allow for a setup that low, but im not going to start hacking things up because someone thinks it wont work, its a project, you have to learn from it

yup and no offense but id like to see something go wrong....but nothing major just something little. that way for people who do a build in the future, they will be able to know exactly what to avoid. or maybe your piping turns out to be low....but is in a spot that never scrapes...that would be something to note. i just hate to see all this flaming. less flaming more work. get that freaking thing done so we can get some vids!

im working on finding a series 2 posi, the rear end was given to me and he told me it was series three, but i tried to put my series 3 posi in and something isnt right, he told me it has 3.08 gears so its a series 2, everything is back together, fully built transmission, boosted engine, and now no rear end :( i might just buy a whole new rear end because finding a series 2 posi wont be an easy task, i believe they only come in the auto V8 cars, so we will see

The thing is... People have done this before. And things have gone wrong. And things were corrected. And people did learn. And So people passed on the advice. It's just too bad that Fondle didn't want to listen to it. I was never mean about it originally, and not every one of my posts said something about how his pipes were too low. He just started to realize that they maybe and that he ****ed up and got all sensitive about it then blew up when I brought it up. I tried to help, which is the point of a forum mostly. But high and mighty thinks he knows better than experience from SEVERAL members and got all hostile.

firebirddrvr, there are a lot of other build threads that will benefit you much more than this one. Trust me.

Fondle, don't threaten over the internet. It's seriously not making you look any better. I'm not sure if you're car would even make it here. Anyways, If you didn't want people's advice during your build then you shouldn't have posted up new pics and updates for all of us to see. Simple as that.

i got the car on the ground yesterday and it doesnt appear to be low enough to worry about ,just because you say its too low, doesnt tell me what will actually scrape bottom to fix it, im done arguing, if its too low, i will fix it
