hey you guys running turbos, what weight oil do you use. also regular or synthetic? you are supposed to start out with regular oil though right?

I run Royal Purple 20W50, but I live in hotter state, you want to run at least 10w40 I would think.

ok cool that sounds good, do you recommend running synthetic after its broken in and stuff or is it better to stay with regular oil with turbos? thanks!

I was told by Tiago to run at least a 10W40 for a turbo app or just a 40W. I run the RP 20W50 just because of the AZ hot summers for added protection.

Synthetics have a higer "cokeing" temprature. aka they resist heat more then standard oil before they begin to break down. If your running a turbo app i recomend using synthetics only.
