Looks good , drilling it won't be a problem becuase the connector will cover any scratches by the hole. Or use a big washer like I did on both sides.

Double roller timing chain for sure, heads will have to be reworked for the 150LB springs, might as well go with 130LB springs , should hold up to 22-25LBs of boost. For valves I wouldn't go with ZZP's go with Manely Valves, check out ZZP's web site, since you have to get your heads redone, they can do the valve guides for you and do the valve job for the bigger valves. I will be looking at some Manelys here soon , the machine shop where i got my heads done says they can get the Manely valves I want , but it comes with a bigger price tag. So I'm just getting other stuff done and will eventually have them get me the valves and redo my heads again.

Ok slight bummer.....I have to bail on the turbo build :( The oil leaks of my car are progressively worse. Parents are getting tired of oil spots all over the driveway.
Good news is I will continue building the motor only thing is I have to change a few things. First is it will no longer be a turbo build. (Yes I know it is now in the wrong section and wrong title). This build will now be a high compression build. I currently have the heads in the shop to be ported, and assembled. I bought Manley intake/exhaust valves. I also have Wiseco 10.5:1 compression pistons bored 40 over being custom made.

Don't worry shizzil , I'll build my turbo build for the both of us and you can have a bad @ss stroker kit with some juice. Good luck with it, keep us updated. I should pick up my L26 engine this month I hope , if I can get enough guys to unload it on to my floor jack so I can put it on the engine stand. Also you should get the stock size Manely stems .3136 since all their new valves are suppose to be stock size. So good deal , JE has 9:9.1 forged pistons for $900, are Wesico forged? I know doesn't matter since non-turbo now. Also leave some room for ya and go .30 over . plus being safer.

Lol thanks. I talked with my builder and we are going 30 over instead, that way its a lil safer if I run nitrous, the Wiseco's will be forged. They are getting custom made to the 10.5 ........shouldn't be too expensive (I HOPE) lol. Not going stroker, already bought a crank. I will definitely keep posting updates. Currently the motor is at the shop being bored 30 over, and receiving a full engine balance. The heads are still being ported, Im getting the best possible port job, guy has been working on them for about 3 days now and are almost done. Manley valves are at the shop with the builder. Hopefully have this motor ready to drop in the car in less than three weeks. As soon as I get a call from the builder saying something is done i will have pics posted.
