has anybody notched their stock k members for piping room on an under the k setup?

lowering to me isn't about getting the body low to the ground, its more about getting rid of the huge amount of fender to wheel gap we have. and of course lower center of gravity yadda yadda ya...i would much rather have no ground effects and less wheel gap, but thats just personal preference, i'm not hating.

Someone actually notched out the stock K and welded in some larger gauge exhaust piping in it's place. I saw pics before but that was awhile ago, maybe you'll have some luck finding them.

That was Teful Hyuden I beleive , with his under K GT40R turbo setup , which made 450 WRHP and 500 TQ with just 130LB valve springs on stock motor.

Also done by another member 5.0Slow, he did it on a guys Firebird, very clean setup looked akin to the TTA's of olde.
