How'd you come up with your cam specs?
They're almost identical to an off the shelf grind.

          any suggestions?
You said l32 block, but what about pistons and rods?

          What about all this:
You said l32 block, but what about pistons and rods?
          Push rods
          Rocker arms
          Intake valves
          Exhaust valves
          Crankshaft
          Bored out
          Full Engine Balance

Im sure theres more just can't remember.
Also theres a a few modifications to the timing chain cover needed to be made for it to work.
If I remember right l36=l67=l32 FOR THE BLOCK, what makes them different is the heads, intakes, internals and several other things.

Just a few more things to keep in mind.

i talked to the guys at modular turbo and they told me garret was more of an import turbo, and all the master power turbos can compare to the quality and reliability

he told me the gt35r couldnt make 600 on my motor and i would need the 70a/r to able to achieve 600
GT35R is a perfect turbo for a 3.8 , I have talked to Garrett dealers 70 A/R is the housing they come in(just like the MP70 I sold you was a 70 A/R housing) , a .63 A/R exhaust will support 500 HP and a .82 A/R will make 600 HP . Teful hyden with his GT40R with a .82 wheel shifts 6500 or above, made 455 WRHP and over 500 TQ at 18LBS of boost+methanol he also runs 20+ PSI sometimes, take that to sea level and your over 600 HP and TQ plus. A GT35R with a .63 A/R is good for 6000 RPMs and up to 500 WRHP , more of a street turbo with a quick spool and good range through 2000 RPMS to 6000RPMS with their GT wheel, plus its water cooled. Master Power can't be put in the same class as a Garrett turbo, Master power wouldn't be even a Generic brand of a Garrett turbo thats the difference in them and thats why their 3 times as much also.

by l32 block, i meant the short block, including rods and pistons.. didnt know i had to be that specific with it for you to know what im talking about

im keeping the stock bore, stock crank and all of that

the heads im buying are already built, and have different springs, pushrods, valves and all that stuff in them

                    Re: New setup

That turbo is not even close to a GT35R turbo, they can try to say its a clone, only thing it has a .63 A/R and that is it. A GT35R is a BB turbo and watercooled with their GT wheel on the .63 A/R exhaust side and it uses a T3 to get 500-600 HP instead of a T4 getting 500HP. Since the turbo is the power of the engine I wouldn't go with a cheap turbo ,they will not last aslong and will not perform as well as a name brand turbo.

                      Re: New setup

Also the cam choice would need to be looked into somemore since you want a split duration, like the stock cam , look at Vipers cam , its designed for a turbo running high boost, the Aboott heads have SI valves in them which I wouldn't run too much boost with them since the valves have a tendency to break and ruin the piston. Manely valves are designed for turbo apps.,Manely Serve Duty series. Although Teful is still running stock valves with his setup and 130LB springs and double roller with stock engine and still handles 20+ boost with over 500 HP and 600 TQ, its all in the tunning and not getting KR and blowing something up. You could just use your current engine and just use 130lb springs and a double roller and get a good turbo and methanol kit and go from there, do you have any vids of the MP70 turbo running ?

Your right I do not know that of which i speak. I apologize. I did not mean to come off as telling you what to do. I should've known block implied short block. The Abbott heads will work great with the high boost you plan on hitting with your hp goal. Good luck . I'm staying out.

                            Re: New setup

Fondle, I have a few questions that are killing me.
                            1. What happened to your current engine?
                            2. You couldn't even change the crank position sensor because it's raining so how did you manage to sell your kit?
                            3. You make money from tuning? How did you learn to tune well enough, in that short of period of time, that other people pay you to tune their cars?
In my opinion, a person is only as good as the work they've accomplished. As far as we all know, your car is sitting dead in a college parking lot.

I'm sorry but Fondle, when something doesn't make sense to me, I don't just ignore it. I ask questions. I have no intentions of starting a flame war at all. I just really want those questions answered. Truthfully, in a way that I can make sense of all this.

                            Sincerely, your best buddy!

the engine is fine, its sitting in the parking lot still

as for selling the turbo kit, i told him it would be a little bit before i could ship it and he said that was fine

and i tune lots of the other v6 cars, none of them have anything major done so its not difficult, they are all bolt on only cars
