I am to the point of hooking in the vac/boost lines for the BOV, wastegate, gauge, and FMU. There is no fitting on the turbo itself, and I do not have a boost regular.
Can I hook all of these to the same vacuum source? There is a line at the top of the 3.4 I think I can T off. (I think it's 1/8". FPR and MAP hose?)
I am confused by the fitting sizes. The tubing for the Autometer gauge is very small. It claims to be 1/8", but there is no way I get that on to a 1/8" barb for the T. What size is this?
The FMU as an SAE #4 fitting (1/4"?), and the BOV and WG have a 1/4. Should I run 1/4" tubing all the way from the T off the vac line or should I run 1/8 tubing and convert at the fitting? I am confused because wouldn't the pressure change when the diameter of the tube changes?
Or should I run the gauge off the 1/8" line (how the hell do I hook that in?) and find a 1/4" line for the others? Is there another source in the 3.4 to tap into like the PCV hose?
Thanks for the help!
