Re: 2000 bonneville supercharger on 2000 bird
Point is this kind of build is alot of work and is not worth the gains. The intake would be pointing towards the firewall. And i dont think that our heads are compatable. Plus the supercharged bonnevilles and grand prixs only had like what 240hp?

please search, can be done if you own a machine shop or a buddy owns one and you have some fabbing skills, gains are not worth it when compared to a procharger or turbo.

Turbo-will require some fab work as well, but its been done by many people. All of the parts are available just need a little skill to make them work.

1.Cartuning
2.ZZPerformance
3.FFF
(maybe find a used one every once and a while.)
As for costs you gotta pay to play. Turbo or Powerdyne wont be cheap. Nothing will be easy :) (Not that I know from personal experience)

Re: 2000 bonneville supercharger on 2000 bird
I had a powerdyne years ago put about $4500 into it with mods , maxed dyno was 288 WRHP and 330 TQ with built engine 8-10LBS of boost, VS cam and M5. But after 3-4 runs it would dyno about 235 WRHP and 250 TQ ,so once its heated up the HP went down, intercooler puts too much stress on the internals and methnanol would be the best choice but never got no #'s with it on the dyno. Doing a under K turbo build with a GT35R turbo big intercooler with all new parts and some extras which cost about $4000-$4500 total and expect 400-450 Wrhp with 10-12 PSI ,so I think a turbo kit would be much nicer plus you can have a boost controller to turn it down for hot summers ,so you don't have KR. Plus I got a progessive Methanol Kit to run more boost during hot summers. So to sum it up I have had the Powerdyne, nitrous and now going with a turbo and so far I would go turbo over both just reading up on it, but I will find out once everything is hooked up.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine
