    Re: setting up a turbo

Well you will definatley have to plug the PCV valve and get a valve cover breather. As for the hot pipes, unless you are going to get a tubular k member dont go under the stock K. FFH is probably the safest and easiest, unless you are swapping the K. A few guys up here have gone under the stock K and said they scrape pretty badly. Thats why i changed my mind as to going turbo. I may still do it in the future but i dont have the money to swap the K and do a finish the turbo build. just some friendly advice, listen to the guys that have done it, most of them will tell you it sucks doing s*** twice.

Best advice to start out with... go to the Forced Induction section and read the stickies. Then search whenever you come across something that you don't recognize or don't understand. Read, read, and read some more and you'll learn a lot. Also look at other people's builds and pictures, they'll show you what has worked and what caused problems. There's a lot of good information buried in this forum, just might take a bit of work to find some of it. But a lot of it will help you decide what is best for your goals and setup.

Yeah he is the one who is going to help me set it up. He did it on his mustang but I want to make sure everything is ok the first time I put it. Or at least not too much to tweak. I have been researching and asking around, better than putting the turbo on and having to take it off again
