I was saying for a street car and not tubed out and just for track, Linx would have the highest, With the highest dyno #'s but no track times. Also with all the parts he has put in it and all the coated parts and the 6 speed. I wish he would take it to the track, mine is for the street not going for records but want at least 350-400 WRHP and run some 12's in the 1/4. But yes Tim King has the quickest and highest dynoing F-body.
There are a few Grand Prix's that make over 600whp and are street cars. The one high HP local GP is going 10's full weight on a STOCK bottom end.
Swan Engine has a 4.1 engine for us and you can have that built for boost if you want it.
There is NO reason to stroke a 3800 to 4.1. Relatively cheap builds have gone low 10's and high 9's. It'd be better money to invest in a better turbo set up and suspention before that swan racing kit.

Linx dynoed 650 WRHP, full weight but no track times but know hes parting it out. so will never know how fast his would of went. As for stret cars , I mean people with their own cars and no sponsorship or promoting companies, but their are less guys dynoing 450 WRHP going low 11's , so its a matter of time when someone finds the right setup and goes 10's this year which will be 3-5 cars I can think of. Who knows if I get my turbo done and get my heads setup and finished I can go for 18 PSI this winter. But still when it comes to making more power a turbo will put out more than a supercharger. Thats why th Grand Prix's go to turbos instead of keeping their superchargeers.

My friend is Dennis McCormick and he own a tanning company called "malibu tan" he's a multi millionaire and He would be paying for all of it. I would not have to pay a dime.
He wants to get my car as a record holder of some sort. Just as his corvette is.
Sure, but your comparing a a 9v battery to house feed. Those two engines respond to modifications to far differently to be compared realistically.
If he's really doing this, I would spend 1000+ hours on research and really know every inch of every idea and plan before going with it. Because there is no learning curve to funding like this, its all in till it breaks. And when it does, you have no idea what modification broke what and where.
the people doing this claim to know alot about 3800's.
they have there own machine shop. to work on the heads and mill them down as well as make custom cams to conform to the exact valve lift they want. they said gettting the valve as open as you can without hitting the piston is what you want. (whatever that means) i get it for the most part but cams just confuse me for the most part.
ive been to the shop and they have things that ive never seen before in terms of machining. So im confident that they know whats up.

So what your saying is, All I have to do in confuse you on some simple stuff and then I will gain your confidence???
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
