            Re: Oil Neck

You guys got any idea what kind of PSI moves through that think. Im not sure JB weld would hold up to that. Quite frankly im not sure heliarc would either.

              Re: Oil Neck

I would think it would be around 60 PSI+ and maybe lower when warmed up, since that what the oil pressure is at on most F-bodies.

do you think if i had the hole arc welded it would F*** up the clearance for the belt? Its an extremely small hole. hardly even there.

                  Re: Oil Neck

I would just JB weld it, so you don't have to file it down anymore becuase you can just use alittle JB weld on it to stop the leak.

Any spare material from the weld could be filed back down to clear the belt and still have your hole plugged. The trick will be keeping it clean enough to get a weld that will hold; the oil that leaks through will really screw with your weld and it might not seal it off if you can't keep it cleaned up.

I already took it off of the car, and its not a DD. So I think i will be ok. Ive been looking around to see if someone is parting out.

So sorry to hear that. Did you follow grayman's instruction on this? He's pretty thorough.
