  • turbo couplers?

I have a couple quick questions bout turbo couplers.

first what size coupler are you guys running for you throttle body?

and also do any of you guys have a problem with blowing off you coupler from the turbo to the pipe? it always seems to get loose some how. i think maybe i need like a real long one.

    Thanks!

    Re: turbo couplers?

I have a 2.5-4" to the throttle body. Bought it off of Ebay a while back.

I used to have all kinds of problems blowing off clamps and couplers, but after peeling the edges of the pipes, using a little RTV and good T clamps, I havent had a problem for over 2 years now.

I have a 2.5 - 4 also I havent found a 3.75 but that probably fits real snug. The rtv sounds like a great idea. Thanks alot guys!

I dont suggest putting RTV on your throttle body though. I only have it on the charge pipes that kept coming loose.
