Hit 7 psi tonight. Fuel pressure never droped below 55psi. It ran awsome. I am thinking about putting a boost referenced FPR on it to hold me over until i get a tune and bigger injectors.
little bit of boost makes a big difference right, lol
Actually I would say CFM makes a big difference one migh see 6-7 PSI with 900 CFM and another might see 6-7 PSI with 1200-1500 CFM ='s a big difference.

Oh hey, that's what I see too in my Fuel Pressure so you are fine. I have a non-adjustable Vortech FMU. Other have adjusted that's why they can adjust it to 60-70, but that might be too rich.
But, I do recommend that you get the injectors and HP Tuner so you can ditch the FMU. The only reason I have this is to stay legal in Calif.
Right now you are at 6-7psi I would recommend the 36 injectors (GTP injectors), unless others here disagree. Steve what do you think?

I would pick up some , I gained some hp when going to 36LB injectors and then tuning it in , plus I could feel the difference , becuase like you said its hard to tune for the FMU than injectors. Injectors were hard at first because their weren't as many tunning guides like there is now. In 02-03' I don't think anyone had a guide out for tuning. But I know I felt a big difference in how the car responded back then ( I mean like throttle response and what not). Plus you can get your fuel trims locked in alot bettter for better gas mileage. I picked up like 10 WRHP and forget TQ # on the dyno but it was alot better. I have a spare set of GTP injectors 36Lb (33LB on our cars ) went to 65LB(60lB) injectors , the GTP's are Bosch style injectors PM me if you can use them , I think they work up on 95-99' 3.8's, 00-02 3.8's use Mutitec injectors.

FMU is working properly. In boost i had 60psi. So i guess next is my new injectors, wideband, and tune. Maybe i can find someone around here that can do a decent street tune and i can go off of that.
Most FMU's are 6:1 meaning 6 PSI of fuel to 1LB of boost, thats what came with the original PD from RK sport, but now they have adj. FMU's where you can set them to what you want which is pretty cool. Theres a guy running a FMU with 42 LB injectors for his turbo kit and its working well, at 20 PSI + , so I guess it just depends on if it works for the person and theres no KR and not running lean then its up to the person. I like the bigger injectors myself I find it easier to tune.
