I think the piece in the first picture is the thing leaking but I'm not completely sure that's why I want to get a stethoscope to listed to the whole exhaust
Habor frieght I got my Stethoscope for like $5 , good investment.
08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

Insane: Have you really checked your turbo? I've had guy's with some bad exhaust leaks that still made boost no problem. If it's leaking exhaust you would hear it and there will be black stuff around where it's leaking.
I'd make sure that turbo is free spinning. Make sure the wastegate is working properly too. There should be NO exhaust bypassing untill you reach (10psi) or whatever the spring is rated to. If it's bypassing/open at idle then there's a problem with the valve.
Most of them have a ring you need to have installed around the base of the valve. If that's missing then it won't seat and just bypass exhaust.
I'm betting one of those two things is the problem.. not a exhaust leak.
Thor: I have no Idea who's got the fastest V6.... Mine's been 10.32@133mph on pump gas on a drag radial. I've got a new set of head castings on there now.. it sure is stronger running. I hope in the spring to make a 9.90 pass on pump gas and run Drag Week again.
Good luck Insane.. if you want faster help just e-mail me (UR50SLO@aol.com)
