Are any of you turbo guys runing water, water/alcohol injection? If so were is your nozzle?
I'm worked that with a stock TB you would have to put the nozzle after the MAF and being so close to the runners would you have problems getting even distribution to each cilinder?
That being said I was wondering if I could use a LS1 MAF insted and place it further upstream or even preturbo. Thoughts????

I have mine further back and it works pretty good too. mines in the beginning of the intake.
Thats where mines going , top of the upper intake , running boost juice 49% meth, 51% water off a progressive setup, so I can set it up at 3 PSI 25%, and have it go up from there to max at 100% at ? PSI whatever boost. So it just scales it up. With a 250 PSI pump the spray should be really a good mist. Plus it steam cleans the upper/lower intakes.LOL

49% meth and 51% water why so critical? 50/50 is not good enough? Just curious.
Its the only way you can buy it and have it shipped since anything over 50% methanol is flamable an can't be shipped, without paying some outrages prices. I get 1 gallon for about $11 for the boost juice which is fine, I can't find 100% methanol around here. I know some washer fluids are 30% and can use alcohol from homedepot with the right mixture but the boost juice is so easy to order and its premixed already, comes in a case of 4-1 gallon jugs.

i know i'm bringing this back from the dead. but where in relation, are the IAT sensors for people running the water/meth at this location? still pre-maf?
You spray after the maf so the readings don't get screwed up from methanol hitting the maf.

i understand that, i've just read that it's best to spray before the iat, so that the computer see the actual iat that its recieving. obviously it pulls timing if to warm.
If you use the LS style MAF sensor mentioned in the first post you can plumb it further up the intake tube and put your meth nozzle post MAF sensor and pre AIT.
how difficult is it to "scale" the maf, if you switch.. i actually have an lt1 maf laying around, if that would work... is running it after the iat working fine for everybody?
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
