Well the Blower is on the car. Install only took a couple of hours. I do not have the discharge connected yet as i orderd the couplers, pipe, and BOV last night. If all goes well i should have it finished and tuned by the weekend.
:burn: I will post some pics when i get home.

You may very well already be on top of everything, but dont forget to disable the pcv system and vent a valve cover. Are you going to use the FMU or did you get different injectors?

One of the other things i have to do, i have the breather installed just gotta run a tap through the pcv passage and plug it. I already have bigger injectors.
Man I can't wait to drive it when it's done. :excited:

            Pictures of the completed setup.

Look familiar Watazz? LOL I liked the way you did yours, it looked so clean, that i took almost the same approach.
All except my air filter is right on the Powerdyne itself. Getting it tuned Sunday!

Very hot set up, looks amazing. I'm entirely clueless about forced induction, but won't sucking hot air from the engine bay through a non-intercooled super get really really toasty?

It's not terrible with the low boost that a Powerdyne is used to run. An intercooler, even a smaller A2A, will add stress to the internal belt in the headunit and can take longer to reach full boost. Meth injection's a good alternative, but still isn't necessary at 7psi or less. 91 octane and a good tune should be enough with how he has it set up.

Makes me wish I had the 90* scroll instead of the straight. :(

                  Looks good though!!

Took the words right out of my mouth , methanol injection is the best thing for the PD , but make sure its after the MAF. PD will last along time(2-5 years or more) running 6-7 PSI , go any higher your looking at rebuilds 1 month to 6 months. I had taken out my PD so many times I could take it out and put it back to stock in 20 mins. Then about 20-30 mins. to reinstall it. Great looking setup should flow well by the looks of the plumbing, if I still had mine I would would do some nitrous as well as the methanol if looking for extra power. Good luck with it and enjoy.

                        Re: My powerdyne is here!

Thanks for all the positive comments! For those of you already running a powerdyne, at idle what sort of vacum do you get? after the install i went from about 15 in/hg to about 12 in/hg. is this normal? will this change after it is tuned? Also i am unsure how the BOV should be set, i.e. when should it start to close.

Can't help you on the BOV, but I wouldn't worry about the change in vacuum since the blower is pushing air even at idle. I'm sure mine changed about that much...but its been a while...

That is a tight Looking setup you got there, I would like to do something like this to mine later on or turbo even.

-12 seems low but I can't remember mine either with it cammed also. BOV should be closed all the time, then when when you let off the throttle and the TB closes you should here the swooshing sound from the air letting out of the BOV.
