lots of people use FMU's with their setups. Blizzard, just because you don't have one doesn't mean it won't work fine for someone else. Lots of 3.4 guys who simply CAN'T tune have to go with an FMU therefore rendering your depiction of a "bandaid" somewhat useless.

It is a bandaid on these cars, if we're talking about more than v6 F-bodies I must be on the wrong forum. I'm pretty sure 3.4's can get some kind of standalone to tune, tko is tuning his 3.4. Sure you can make power with one, I never said you couldn't. But my point is, tuning the ECM is what everyone would do over a FMU, especially in the case of a powerdyne. A turbo, eh well you could be right if they're boosting so much that their fuel pressure is inadequate. But that takes a lot of boost, more than a powerdyne would put out. And I do have one, but I don't have any need for it since I am able to tune for my boost lvls just fine.

Fair enough, I see your point. I'm just trying to show that some people run FMU's for years without issue and never even consider a standalone system or pcm swap because there is simply no need to for their turbo'd setup. If it's good enough for them then we should leave them to what works.

whoa bump on this, i never even saw some of these responses. So hypothetically if i put this FMU on I could get by without bigger and injectors and a tune (<-for awhile atleast)?

Yes lots of people are running set ups with fmu's
