Thanks for the response, are you running alm. pipping or steel? Your running the same A/R as me so maybe I should run smaller pipping, what about intercooler should I keep the 3in,/ 3out with 2.5" ? I might try steel since i have a welder and can weld a bit, so the pipes don't come loose. It sucks to have too many hobbies , I buy guns and go shooting so that take up some of my spending money, I have 1 more gun I want and 1 too fix so after that I can spend more on the car.LOL

I'm running mandrel bent steel but I would suggest running silicone couplers I bought 1ft of silicone piping which was $25 but I had to cut the thing to size. For the 90* bends I went to the home depot for those. Which I don't recommend that but that was just to get me going. Try to weld a bead around the pipe so the coupler wont pop off under boost. I didn't do that but the car had a bunch of other issues and that was the last thing on my list.

How about your intercooler , I have 2.5" -3" couplers you think I woud be good with a 3" in/out intercooler or just switch intercoolers also, Im in AZ so its hot in the summer but I do have methanol setup.

I ordered some 2.5" steel pipping and will go that route , will have a exhaust shop expand the ends I need and will weld them from there. I hope this works out better , just over $100 worth of pipe and what 2.5" I had left over from my Powerdyne intercooler pipping.

I would suggest the intercooler have 2.5" fittings on it. Reason being is that you are going to go from small to large and then to small again and that's going to be restrictive I say keep it 2.5" all the way.

Thanks for your response again, I'm going to try the reducers with the 2.5" pipe, I figure their can't be alot of pressure on the one side since its going into 3" but the other side may be a problem coming out of 3" and going into 2.5" I'll just have to watch it and see, I'm going to order another 2.5" kit and might get the 2.5"in/ out intercooler with it or might not, I'm going to see how it works out first.

Thanks , I got my tax return yesterday so I might get the whole 2.5" couplers etc. and intercooler since its only $16? something, just gives me extra stuff to use.

I buy my silicone couplers from here http://www.extremepsi.com/store/home.php?cat=. I would match the cold side of the intercooler piping to the diameter of the inlet on the cold side of the turbo. Did that on a crx I owned and it worked better then the bigger diameter tubing.

Thanks for the response, It looks like I'm ggoing with 2.5" steel tubing and alittle smaller intercooler that comes with the kit. I'm going to tack weld everything then have the exhaust shop weld it together, just so I know the welds are good, I'm not by all means a welder and wouldn't trust my welds.LOL I might leave it with a open down pipe though the exhaust sound isn't bad at all. I must fix this oil leak first while I wait for my stuff to arrive.

Ya I would weld all of it and use silicone couplers to attach to intercooler and turbo. Also, throttlebody and intercooler side. I had the same problem blowing couplers on my car when full boost kicked in (10psi) so thats what I did.

Thanks thats the plan , I'm going to tack it all up and then have the exhaust shop weld all my welds.

Update: still waiting for couplers and clamps , also tial 50mm stainless steel flange so the BOV can get on. Sucks when you miscalculate the #'s you need. But I did get the one side tacked up and couplers over the welds which makes me happy. Just one more side to go. Thanks for the people that said to go with 2.5" steel its going to work alot better.

Yes, if it maxes I'll use PE with my wideband to tune it.
