After a dyno and track times I plan on having the heads installed with my COMP 1.7 Promags , ,105 pushrods, head studs and .065 MLS gaskets. Heads have Manely Serve duty valves , 130 LB springs , manely retainers. Also my P/P intakes.

Are you going with forged pistons also are you going with a cam?

yes definatly forged pistons and the cam ill let you know the specs

A good dyno tune isn't complete until you tweak it for the street!

Do the basic stuff on the dyno just o dial it in and then massage everything on the street in real world conditions.

I know its good to tune it on the street, unless you have problems esp. like mine, and a safe place to tune it. I hope the new batt. fixes the power problem.

Your right there's no real world conditions on the dyno so there would b room for improvement...I hope that battery fixes your problem too so it will b good for the dyno and those # we all want to see

Thanks, I found the short today and got it tuned in very nice, damm short is somewhere in my 1 ga. wire going to the back of the car, pisses me off all this time it was that wire shorting out, good note the car didn't burn up. LOL

Yes I did. Won't do that again. LOL Got my yellow top installrd just in case though, since it could be damage from the short it was pretty hot.

Well , it did 277 wrhp at 7 PSI, will go back once I have either my 11 or 14 PSI spring in , my oil leak I must fix it causes too much smoke, but I will run it at the track on the 9th to see what it does. Also temp was about 100 degrees out so that didn't help much. There were about 50 cars/trucks there that showed up for the fund rasier.

Not really considering I have a 11lb and 14lb spring to use, also no meth. I will have to wait until Nov. when it cools down here to go back. I only ran it up too 5000 rpms. Because of the smoke off the Y pipe, I didn't want to take up too much time. The 3.73 gears killed me on the dyno. Also I think I dynoed in 2nd gear from 40 to 80mph when it should of been 60- to 120 mph. Doesn't matter I'll run it at the track for some times.
