  • Accel or F.A.S.T. Injectors?

A buddy of mine has a set of used F.A.S.T. 42 lb. (maybe 36 lb. I dont remember which) injectors and an unopened set of Accel 44 lb. injectors that he told me I could have either of if I ever got my turbo build off the ground. Would I be able to use either of these on my 3.8? The Accel ones are a little short height-wise, and I'm not sure about the FAST ones, so I'm assuming neither one would match the height of the stock injectors.

ZZP 65LB(60LB) injectors would be ideal , I tuned mine in the time it took to tune my 36LB(33lb) ones very easy plus have room to grow, there actually 60lbs on our fuel system, they are Motron injectors. I have ran both now 36lb and 65 lb and 65lb for $340 for 6 is a great price should support 400+ WRHP.

Yea, I was looking at those 60 lb. injectors but i'm asking about the FAST or Accel ones cuz if I can get those from a friend I can save myself that couple hundred bucks..

Never tried them which ever is longer would fit better I would assume , 44lb ones seem pretty good just have to match them up and see. Plus check to see if the connector is the same, and indepedence, high or low.

The accell injector you have pictured will fit the 3.8.

Which should I be looking for? High or low impedance? And how can I tell, the Accel ones don't say (that I could find anyway).

Thanks guys for the responses btw

If that is the correct part number, then that is high impedance. Most of their low impedance injectors start with a 74 part#. The high impedance injectors are designed to run with a stock ecu. Although your still going to have to scale them in your tune. Do you know for sure if they are #44's?

yes, the Accel ones are still in the original box, never used.

                Thanks
