    Re: Wideband?

If having a turbo might as well buy Hptuners , since when the weather changes you'll need to tune for it.

Well It would be a good idea to get hptuners, i wouldn't send it in, because every car is different, i would either get hp tuners or have a shop do it.

if you go with hp tuners pro has the inputs on the side, that allows you to connect the wideband...but there is a way to do it with the standard version. i believe you wire the wideband into the egr input on the pcm and log the egr (wideband) but I'm not 100% on how you do that, you should try and ask someone who's done that, if your going that route.

If you are getting a turbo DO NOT mail order tune. Yes get a Wideband if you do and see what the AFR is. If you are running lean, get the supporting mods and tune for it. Its better to do it right the first time.

PLX has been great to me over 9 years now , no problem with it, still on same Bosch wideband 02', and controller so my vote is for PLX. but I do have a AEM boost controller thats been great so far.
