any bracket should really go to the motor because the motor will be torqueing. and with a 6 puck clutch, alot of horespower or, bad motor/trans mounts. you'll really brake stuff if you try to mount it to the body. i was going to make a mount for mine.. and maybe i still should but the manifolds seem stout enough to support my turbo.
I havent really been following along but is the oilpan the only motor part you're going to paint?
Look at page 18 the picture of all the parts painted, and the turbo is mounted and seems fine wioth that bracket, evben with out the y going into the fff headers, which will help even more.

Well the ac idle bracket broke today and after thinking about it decided to make the whole bracket out of steal so it will never break. One of a kind ans should help with the weight of the turbo
