I've seen a couple of diesels crush the filter and suck it up into the housing. Looked like it was due to the filter being clogged though.
Are you going to put the radiator shroud back on top of the radiator? I think you'll have air going over the top of it if you don't.

Yes, it directs the air into the radiator. Kind of hate to cover the cool looking coolers right? If they made high temp plexi you could put windows on your steel shroud.Originally posted by Unique96Camaro View PostComment

so nothing really new with this build just waiting on the head parts, and saving up for the rest si it can be done. Just need to buy $1500 in parts and pay $1500 for labor at the machine shop and bam!!! done!!!
but heres a pic of my new slanted lower gauge/switch panel
then i just need to buy two more gauges aem wideband, and aem tru boost controller. but i thing i will wait on the controller sense i will only be running 9psi in the beginning (wastegate spring). that will save me $250 for awhile/Comment

I'm probably going with an Ebay universal Turbo kit but I'm waiting until I move out of Colorado before I start focusing on the performance aspect of my car. I may go with a simular set up as yours.Comment
