and actually I heard about this transX stuff that seems to do everything.....it could probably make cold air come out of your vents similar to AC, its magical. You may want to look into it
Are you doing forged pistons and a cam, if so what cam and pistons?
08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine

Were doing everything possible to this motor. Yes forged pistons, cam, maybe different rods (but i dont think we will need to because their pretty good as is with the side bolts going into them no just the top ones.), top of the line heads. The motor is at the shop getting cleaned as i type this, then it will get ((miked))(Not sure how to spell it) and then we will see which pistons i will need. Will update you as soon as i know. Should have the lower end done soon after i get the motor back though. :)
Considering im putting 5-6k in the motor alone, if you have any suggestions for top of the line heads, pistons, cams ect. let me know ssms or anyone else thanks.

Why?
I made 400whp with a bone stock motor and a cartuning turbo kit. In fact i'm going to try and make 500whp this year with just 1.9's. I thought all you wanted was 400whpish.

cause i want to make sure the motor will last, and so that i can push it past 400 hp. Plus i want the aggresive sound and for car shows to say whats all in the motor.
Heads you can do yourself, just buy Intense MANELY SERVRE Duty valves and self port the heads and have milled for .600" lift and port the intakes. Clevlite 77 bearings all around, with some forgred pidtons from ZZP. L32 connecting rods,Ls7 lifters or Comp, 130lb valave springs, Comp .105 pushrods andd maybe some shaft mount rocker arms and a double roller timing chain, cam. Right there your over $2500 in parts and labor. Then for a decent turbo $1000 plus wastegate and Bov $400, plus intercooler and pipping misc., $400. It just adds up as you go.

Then buy a low miles l26 leave the bottom end alone and get a decent cam/heads package.
You will have more problems with a built motor than with a stock motor at the power levels you're talking about. Unless you get Tischler to build it.
