After that we estimate it will be around another $800 to complete the heads, get the cam, probably valve covers, gaskets stuff like that. Then once all that is done ill get the built transmission for around $1,800, finish the turbo kit $500, then all the electronics and hp tuners $700, then other odds and eneds will be probably $500, then it will be ready to ( i wanna say drop it in, but thats not how its done with our cars) LIFT HER UP!!!
P.S. check out these pics
Went to the Southwest camaros car club meet sunday, mine and my friends were the only f-bodys
And second was driving with a 2011 SS convertible today. DAMMM their so sick!!
so here is a update on my turbo build. i should be getting the motor back this week from empire engines who did all the machine work and i will start to put it back together.
but all today i worked on finishing up the log headers but still not done
first blocked off the egr port
Then both the headers on cut for more flow and the other not.
This is the drivers side alot easier than the passenger side, just angled for better flow.

new radiator brackets once i swap the motor and transmission im putting braided transmission lines that will be a bit longer so i can tuck the radiator more forward to make room for the turbo, but this is how it is now.
Shined them up a bit and finished welding all the rest of the holes on the flange side and they just need to be welded together.
so went to empire engines and checked on the motor, the pistons have been weighted perfectly, the rods have been reconditioned and weighted perfectly and i should get the motor back next week and start to re assemble.
Also got the gt45 turbo in and dammmmmmm 40lbs. Any body have any ideas how to make a mount to hold it up besides the y pipe to the flange on the turbo? Its just to heavy and i dont want it hanging on the headers.
