Thanks everyone, and now what sucks is my lower intake mainifold gasket went out and im leaking coolant everywhere so im replacing it tomaro (even though i have a brand new engine going in, in a couple months.) but i have to keep my motor running till then. And i got all the torque specs but was wondering if the torque specs change for my turbo motor. if anyone knows please post thanks.

Still the same specs unless you have MLS head gaskets or head studs then it will be different

They should have a spec sheet with the head studs, I believe their 80 ftlbs. Also remember to do them in order, a haynes manual will have the order. Remember to clean the MLS gaskets real good before spraying them with copper spray.

            :tup::tup::tup:

Never had an issue using the ZZP method. Although I always check the torque on them the day after. It's saved me a lot of headaches ;)

So pistons finally came in and getting weighted tomaro. Should have the short block put together next week. And the heads done the next week.

But while im waiting i deleted my ac compressor on my stock motor to finish some some of the turbo piping.

This is the 3 inch turbo out pipe that goes through the old ac compressor area

              can see more clear

And about a month ago i was asking how i should mount this massive gt45 turbo. well this is one spot where im doing it.

The old ac compressor mounts; should work perfect and help with the twist from the spool on the turbo.

              Creative???

Where do you have that bracket mounted to? It would really be best to have a bracket on the turbo itself rather than a bracket, some exhaust pipe, then the turbo. But yeah, I'm guilty of the same thing too. I have something very similar on mine. Mine is sooo ghetto rigged though, I'm ashamed to show my setup. You're doing a great job so far though so if it were me with your build, I'd actually fab some proper mount for it.

If your down for it, off the top of my head.. You could get a strut tower brace, attach a bracket to the and have it bolt up to the rad support or something in that general area with a bracket going down to the turbo. You could have a cheap strut tower brace that everyone says is just for looks but yours would actually have purpose.

the bracket bolts up the the two ac bolt wholes, and on the turbo the 3 inch v band clamp. But it will also be held by the cold piping copler and the y going into the heads

Ah I see and that is pretty slick but there's still a lot of weight on the pipes themselves from the turbo. I'm not trying to dog ya cause I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one impressed by this so far.

Wow, compared to mine, that BOV looks huge.

It should work if not i will make another bracket straight to the frame from the exhaust pipe. Or maybe one off the y pipes right by the flanges to a strut bar.................. i just came up with that, it actually sounds like a good idea.....hmmmmm:work:

And its a hks ssqv, not to big, but is hooked up to my friends gs-t eclipse and DAMMM!!! Its loud as hell on 5 psi lol

I wouldnt run a bracket straight to the frame...you need to allow for some movement.

                                lookin good though!
