So i got some parts in a did some stuff today for my build.

For one went and talked to engine shop and their weighting and balancing the pistons and rods



Also custom made a valve cover breather.





And my MANELY SEVERE DUDTY VALVES came in today and should be put in the heads next week. And also my new air intake filter and coupler came in


will post a picture with it installed later

Also custom making a strut tower bar. Pics coming soon but its coming out really nice.

Hey , I know those valves. LOL Good luck with them, mine turned out well. Ask if they have bronze guides to install them while they have the heads. Breather looks good.

yeah our oil caps are hollow so putting a o ring for the valve cover breather is EASY!!! and alright i will ask

Got some stuff done today, made sure the filter system off the turbo would work and it will take a look.



Also drilled out the rivets on the stock motor mounts and painted them, will be installing RED poly mounts when they come in. Can anyone find me a link to some poly motor mounts



Also cleaned up and painted the tensioner bracket and painted the pully blue,

and letzride leave a reply. Just pop out the rivets replace with the v8 ones (because their the same as the v6 ones) and rivet back together right? i noticed the stock mounts have some kind of glue holding the mounts down, any idea what it is?

So i didnt make a steel replacment ac bracket for the turbo, but i did end up beafing up the stock aluminum ac bracket

Filter sure looks like it bottlenecks there. Hope it doesn't try to suck that filter and poly elbow down into the compressor.

never thought about that but will watch out when i start to spool it just really tight for room.

can you not found blue polymounts? haha

is the filter and hose bottlenecking really a legitmate concern? i would definately think it would be best larger. but the idea of its trying to suck in the filter just sounds crazy
