Soo its been a long time sense ive updated on my turbo build, well about a month ago street racing with my stock motor, i blew it racing another camaro. So i figured its time to get this project done. I took it down to the shop and this is where im at.
how my cold side and intercooler piping looks out side bumper








And stripped the front, (no need for washer fluid, bumper guard, stuff like that). But in doing so im re paionting all the green under the hood and parts (black, clean it up a bit)

Engine:
Putting short block together this week.
Porting heads this weekend,
Got 80lb injectors, and 255 walbro,
All aluminum race 2 row radiator,
Got FF headers done today will post pictures 2maro,
should be in the car boosting in 3 weeks

Needs to be done:
Take motor out, after finishing W pipe into the turbo with v bands
install walbro
Custom lengthen pushrods
Measure for mls head gaskets
Port heads
All gaskets and fluids
Weld differential
New struts, and lowering springs
Wideband install
and TUNING!!!!

You street race?! YOU DEVIL! These cars are slow without any power adders, why waste your time and f up your motor? And why the hell did you just disappear right after the raping those guys on the other forum gave you? Was it one of those guys you raced?

The shift light is merely a recommendation, kind of like speed limits.

I'm curious about a couple of things. You mentioned lengthening your pushrods. Are you talking about ordering longer ones, or making yours longer? And what exactly do you mean by welding your differential?

im assuming he bought longer rods because otherwise it doesnt seem too smart...

but i've seen welded diffs before.. its like a poor man's posi.

Look at my link, I have stock V6 with turbo 1999. Its auto and I have T4 for turbo with 3.42 rear end. I have smoked alot of V8 In process.

What? I raced mine BONE STOCK to.

Our street racing scene here is very pathetically sad. Even stock with Automatics I was beating all of the ricers out here. It wasn't until someone actually had work done to their car or a nicer faster car in general was when Id lose. :D

Even then I have a whole list of buddies that have fast cars that would run em so I still win. ;)

But blowing up your motor tells me you were doing something you weren't suppose to be doing. I have plenty of runs in my car and its still running good to this day.

auto shifting not neutral dumpin like u should, you're lucky that 10lbs of shift light didn't blow the welds on the intake.:burn:bahahahahahahaha just playin.
i raced all the time when i was 17 18, always raced v6 mustangs and camaros... and whatever rice was talking to trash... with this newly acquired power i'm sure i'll be racing somewhere. i'll take the cash and the respect:banana:

Just been busy working and doing stuff to my car. but pretty much finished turbo kit today (just need to weld passenger side y pipe to header)

didnt actually blow the motor, just have had a leaking head gasket for 4 months, raced a v6 camaro one night and the gasket completly failed. on the way home the car got a bearing noise. i said screw it no reason to drive it anymore until its turbo.
