went to my buddys shop, where the plasma cutter, welder, chop saw, etc. are. and finished up the header... unfortunately i didn't get to mock it up and.... i need to come in about 3/4" to a 1". any secrets on bending headers?
EDIT: i'm not happy with the header at all, pretty bummed for having wasted time on it, but i guess it happens.... i've decided to redo the header completely and go between the a/c compressor and heater lines. wish me luck
EDIT: UGH!
got my flywheel resurfaced today. ordered a shim, should be here tomorrow. replaced my rear main seal. decided that the driver side manifold isn't going to fit either. i'm planning on building tubular log manifolds.
i'm also cleaning my 42# injectors with an ultrasonic cleaner soaking in seafoam. i didn't do a before test. but it definitely removed some gunk and the test injector i did, sprayed nice atomization of sea foam.
the person i bought them from had a fwd. and said they didn't fit his so idk. but they are completely hacked up now. i'm just reusing the flange. i'm making the manifolds so simple that i shouldn't need to wait until its back in the car.
PROGRESS FINALLY. i've been working on everything but my car. seems like everybody and the momma needs help with something.
so here's whats up.... log manifolds tacked together. injectors are rebuilt and in the new rail.... think i might need to cut the rail and re-weld it though. not sure though. heres some pics.
