time for me to show off some stuff, i suppose. i'd say im about 85% done with my build (not including tuning) i need to make one bolt hole on the grand prix mani larger. and run cold side piping from the turbo to the intercooler. i'm waiting on the exhaust mani gaskets, i ordered from sce and the clamps and couplers i ordered from siliconeintakes.com. i bought couplers from lowes and they weren't much cheaper but it enabled me to get some of the cold side done.

i heard sce gaskets were good so i ordered a set of exhaust mani gaskets 6 days ago....figuring they should be here by now, i called to check on them. they're getting shipped out tomorrow, i had no idea they built them there.... still don't think it should have taken this long. extra frustrating cuz i had to wait to order them because of money issues. and i'm going on vacation in 2 weeks. so i can't spend anymore money. In fact i'll probably still be broke all of next month....geesh...

what size wastegate do i need if i go with an external i think the GN internal waste gates are set to 12 factory and i don't want to start that high, and what would be the best location to mount it (looking at my manifolds)

eff it im just gonna run 12. i will be expecting help tuning! right now. i can't get the passenger side manifold to seal. but as soon as thats done, i'll be ready to tune. for the injectors. right now. with 42 lb (44 on our rails) injectors set to like 39# in hpt tuners i still have maxed out positive trims.

time for your input guys...
i'm going to start tuning this weekend.
right now i've got 42# injectors that are 44 on our rail and they are set to 39 and still have maxxed out positive ltfts.

i had a descent tune before the injectors.. should i adjust the injectors to get reasonable fuel trim or set them to 42/44 and then tune the maf.

yet another change of plans. decided to make a flange for my turbo so i can have a true three inch downpipe.... and am going with a external wastegate. its a tial rip off bought it off craigs for 30 new in box. 8# spring. so im waiting for my 3" mandrel u pipe to come in to make the new dp and will start working on the wastegate piping tomorrow probably. its hot as hell in oklahoma... really hard to get anything done.

i've decided to buy a fiat ferarri and put it on monster truck tires on it instead of doing this gay turbo project.

lol i was just playing. haven't gotten much attention on this thread lately.... i actually will be finishing up the downpipe tonight. its completely custom including the flange. i'll probably put up some pics to bring people back in!
