hey guys i joined to get some information on these v6 cars. i bought my 97 RS September of last year for 1500 dollars, it has leather, posi and rear disk breaks and 5 speed. it would run but always stumble, had low oil pressure and would burn oil like crazy. so on december i bought an engine from a 06 GTP with 20k miles for 600 bucks. get the tb, injectors, fuel rail and computer from a 97 gtp and put it all together with 00 and up fbody header/manifolds. ive been dailying it since then and im getting a tune soon. so far im on stock pulley.

well, i have a crappy cell phone camera as u can see. ill post a pic of the engine now. im going to be getting it ready for a dyno tune next month and install the af gauge and boost.

It's just not a "bolt-in". This is the second GTP setup fully operational documented on our site. Clearly, both required significant work to make operational.
