Hmm.. well I want to decide something. I'm on holiday in Cyprus right now, but when I'm back I want to go ahead and do something to get the power where I want it.
@pace2006,
I've considered heads/cam approach, but that's a lot of work on a motor that's already seen some abuse. The plan has been to build out the power adder and then start working on a new block, which would have p&p heads and a big FI cam.
@truekoa,
Other than building the block up I'm pretty much out of supporting mod ideas, everything else is already done. I'm not that ballin ;-). More like ballin on a budget.
@Mogobs30th,
So I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean to push the blower forward and run it on it's own belt with a cog setup?
@LETZRIDE,
Is the cartuning kit better than the FFF one? You lose the AC with both kits. I don't really need their tuning and my fuel setup is already right (65# injectors + walbro 255 + methanol injection). FFF was quoting 450whp or so.
@WarShrike,
I already have no AC. So I'm fine with either setup. SSA is a local Houston tuning company that fabricates pretty much anything. This would be a one-off setup from them. Their quality is usually very high, excellent welds, pretty setups, quality components and materials. They make some beastly cars. But they are expensive and take their sweet time. My buddy had them do some fabrication for his header (2L 4banger single header) and it took like a week for some welds. It came out real nice though.
were they quoting you 450rwhp with your mods already?
I would talk to meemperor, he's running their kit and put down 400rwhp bone stock on like 10# I believe. I would also send them an email and talk to them...maybe they would be willing to lower the price on the kit if you don't need everything..maybe not, won't know till you ask.
I emailed them , cartunning , they will take off around $1000 if you have the turbo, Bov and wastegate. Their only chargering $450 for their turbo.

I don't know , it confused me, my GT35R was $1360, retail $1600. Maybe they have bulk sale on them or something.

Yes, either that or have a custom shaft made for a cog wheel on the blower to line up with a cog wheel on the crank. This is a more costly route for the lowest gains when you could slap a turbo on there and have a little more info, but if you're that pressed to using the SC, then its a possibility.
