There's a few options on making power. Searching helps.

3k is cheap for a Turbo kit... a DIY is close to that.

How much boost are you running? Did you have to sacrifice your AC compressor?

No A/C (Like it worked anyway lol). I've been running 14-15psi for a long time now. Car makes great power, no complaints here at all. 3" DP, all stainless, no clearance issues etc.. etc.. I can drive the car like stock with exception of A/C. Which I never use anyway. Some hot days in traffic I miss it, but I forget about it when I hurt LSx cars feelings.

Gotta pay to play. Billet compressor wheel, stainless headers, 3" DP, injectors, tune, Bad *** IC, MAF, oil lines..etc..etc...

I'm sure he could sell you a Non-IC kit with a smaller, cheaper turbo for a good chunk less. But stainless steel headers are still pricey, but ever so beautiful. After making mistakes on my GP with buying things twice, or 3 times doing things over and over and having a car that I was fixing as much as I was driving I made a choice.

I was going to do this car right. Buy quality things once, buy them new and know exactly what I was getting. Plus I wanted to have a car that I could say, drive to Florida and back and not have to worry about getting stranded.

non-ic? im new to terms lol so im still kinda confused. i was gonna spend 1500 on a cam plus instalation and 600 on installing my headers and exhaust. no counting the headers an extra 300-400 for the headers. and i wouldnt even make 250 rwhp. and i was like for that much cash im going to be spending id rather do it in one swipe and get it over with . with a turbo.

2500 to go turbo is gonna be close to impossible.

yu might wanna look into nitrous

N2O will nickel and dime you over time, bottle fill ups etc..

Leave the car as is for now, and save for the turbo, set up. Soooo worth it.

Non-IC = non intercooled. At low boost level's it's not required, and you can always get one further down the road.
