Re: PD bearings
Powerdyne parts fixed
Here is a few shots of the impeller shaft. I decided to not go with a new one
because even after putting a couple thousand lbs of pressure on it from a press
to break it out of the overheated bearing it still isnt bent (ran it out to make sure)
and after cleaning it up there are no raised spots and it is still the same size as before.
This is a shot of the double sided belt that I will be using with the new groved pulley that I have. With little tension on about 60% wrap it is pretty hard to turn. After I intall the PD I will report my experience. And yes the groves of the belt will be running on a smooth water pump pulley.
This is the stock impeller that I picked up off of another member on the forum. Appears to have been balanced before. Still in fairly decent shape.
Here is my smooth pulley vs my groved pulley, I measured them both with a mic. Tthe smooth is about 3.1 and the groved is about 2.97.
